I’m Sam. I have a PhD in Evolutionary Biology & 20+ years in editing & corporate roles. I’ll explore tools to overcome overwhelm, blending science and personal insights. Join me for strategies to manage life and focus on what truly matters!
1. Modern life is chaotic
I feel the demanding pressure of today’s fast-paced world, which can lead to emotional dysregulation and burnout.
I’ve also faced challenges like being easily overwhelmed, struggling to stay tidy, and finding it hard to finish projects—patterns many of us can relate to. I resorted to reading self-help books and buying multiple planners to ‘fix’ me. Many of these books had great advice, but sometimes, I ended up in a cycle of planning and not doing.
2. What you’ll get from me?
Using my background in scientific research and my own experiences, I’m on a mission to discover and share different effective tools and strategies—pathways to productivity—that will help us all live easier, mindful, productive, and balanced lives so we can spend more time doing what truly matters.
For example, my first substacks will examine the bullet journal method- a powerful, adaptable productivity method to determine if your actions align with your goals.
